Warranty and returns
If a sensor suddenly stops working it is most likely a warranty case and it is replaced with a new one at no cost. If it is missing or has been damaged in an accident, we charge you for a replacement sensor.
- Create a ticket in the portal and state which sensor it concerns.
- We send a replacement sensor together with a return label.
- Return the faulty sensor using the return label within 30 days.
Frequently asked questions
How do I contact support?
Create a ticket in the portal at mitt.nrlyze.se. The ticket is linked automatically to the right property and sensor so that we can help you faster. You can also call support on +46 8 525 180 90 or email info@nrlyze.se.
A sensor has stopped working, what do I do?
Create a ticket in the portal. If the sensor stopped working on its own it is a warranty case and it is replaced at no cost. See Warranty and returns above for how the return works.
How long does the battery last?
10 years on two AA batteries, roughly like a TV remote. Unlike many other sensors, the batteries are replaceable standard cells, which gives a long service life.
Where should the sensor be placed?
On an internal wall about 1.2–1.6 m above the floor, as centrally in the apartment as possible, most often in the hallway or just inside the living room. Avoid external walls, windows, radiators, kitchens, bathrooms and electronics such as the fuse box or the router. It is no problem if it is covered by, say, coats in a hallway. The sensor is intended for permanent mounting and should not be moved by residents.
How do I detach a sensor to move it?
The mounting tape holds differently depending on the surface. Either wiggle the sensor loose, or pull a thin line (fishing line, for instance) behind the sensor to cut through the tape. Remount it with fresh double-sided tape in the old position.
How do the sensors communicate?
On 868 MHz in their own mesh network where every sensor helps relay readings to the gateway. The sensor transmits as little as possible to save energy, and it is tested and certified.
Why do we have high return temperatures?
The main causes are incorrect settings in the controller’s heating curve and/or excessive flows in the radiator system. Nrlyze corrects incorrect settings automatically and identifies imbalances and unreasonably high flows so that they can be dealt with.
What is the goal of the service?
To save energy through an even and better indoor climate: that every apartment in the building holds a more similar temperature, and that the indoor temperature does not move when the outdoor temperature swings. Removing the unnecessary waste saves a lot of energy, and therefore money.
Is there an API?
Yes. Nrlyze has an open REST API where all data can be fetched by whoever you, as the property owner, allow. The data structure follows the BRICK schema, a de facto standard for building data. Data can also be fetched directly over MQTT. Contact support for connection and login details.
Who owns the data?
The property owner owns the data and Nrlyze has the right to use it. You can download all data stored up until the service ends.
